Interquartz Telephones

IQ360

Please Note: The model number of your Interquartz telephone can usually be found on a label stuck on the bottom of the phone.

IQ260, IQ350, IQ360, IQ550, IQ560E & IQ750

All these Interquartz phones have a dedicated headset jack. To adjust the transmit level you must use the control on the underside of the telephone. There is also a headset polarity switch on the underside of the phone.

Interquartz attaches the following information to these telephones:

"For best results turn the 'HEADSET MIC ADJUST' control to adjust the volume of your voice when speaking on the headset so that it is loud enough (call someone and ask them to tell you how loud you sound). ADJUST SO THAT YOUR VOICE IS JUST LOUD ENOUGH AND NO MORE. Do not adjust according to how well you can hear your own voice; rely on the feedback from your assistant. Your voice (to the other party) should be no louder than when you speak on the handset. IF YOU INADVERTENTLY SET THE 'HEADSET MIC ADJUST' CONTROL SO THAT YOUR HEADSET MIC IS TOO LOUD YOU MAY EXPERIENCE PROBLEMS HEARING THE OTHER PARTY BECAUSE YOUR HEADSET WILL PICK UP TOO MUCH BACKGROUND NOISE. If you encounter this difficulty please turn the 'HEADSET MIC ADJUST' control anti-clockwise a little at a time to get the best balance between the loudness of your voice and the elimination of problems hearing the other party."
