Please Note: The model number of your Alcatel telephone can usually be found on a label stuck on the bottom of the phone.

Alcatel 4200 / 4400 Series PABX

Alcatel 4059 Attendant Console

To fit a headset to these consoles simply plug into the headset socket.

Plantronics:
Any HW series headset and an A10-16 amplified cable.

GN Netcom/Jabra:
Any "direct connect" headset and a standard cord.

Sennheiser:
Any headset top and a CSTD 01 cable.

4001 / 4003 / 4010 / 4011

To fit a headset to these phones, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate amplifier (the handset cord then plugs into the amplifier) or simply use a headset and cord to replace the handset.

Plantronics:
Any H or HW series headset and an M22 amplifier, (Switch Setting 5, Transmit 2).

GN Netcom/Jabra:
Any "direct connect" headset and a standard cord.

Sennheiser:
Any headset top and a CSTD 01 cable.
Also recommended is a headset / handset switchbox (UI 710)

Alcatel 4012 / 4020 / 4023 / 4034 / 4035 / 4040

To fit a headset to these phones, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate amplifier (the handset cord then plugs into the amplifier) or simply use a headset and cord to replace the handset. These phones can have a headset key programmed by your PABX service tech.

This PABX switchboard/console can be fitted with a headset. Use of headsets is critical for the efficient performance of your switchboard operator(s).

To fit a headset to this console, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate amplifier (the handset cord then plugs into the amplifier) or simply use a headset and cord to replace the handset.

Plantronics:
Any H or HW series headset and an M22 amplifier, (Switch Setting 5, Transmit 2). An alternative is a P series headset and Polaris cord.

GN Netcom/Jabra:
Any "direct connect" headset and a standard cord.

ADD-COM:
Any headset and an MPS switch.

These phones have a dedicated 3.5mm headset jack. Your phone needs to programmed by your PABX service tech to provide you with a headset button.

Plantronics Corded:
Any H or HW series headset and a Quick Disconnect to 3.5mm bottom cord.

Plantronics Wireless:
Any Plantronics wireless headset. For the CS500 & Savi series, use switch settings: Transmit 2, Compatibility A, Listening 3.

Note: The phone must be enabled for headset use.
To verify this:
Go to Settings > Set > Jack plug > Headset on the phone.
Make sure the Headset checkbox on the main screen is unchecked. The phone then automatically detects the headset when it is plugged in.

Any "direct connect" headset and a 3.5mm standard cord.

Sennheiser:
Any headset top and a CCEL 193-2 3.5mm cable.

Alcatel-Lucent IP Touch PABX

To fit a headset to these phones simply use a headset and cord to replace the handset.

Any H or HW series headset and an A10-16 amplified cable.

Any "direct connect" headset and a standard cord.

Any headset top and a CSTD 01 cable.

Alcatel 4028, 4038 & 4068

These phones have a dedicated 3.5mm headset jack. Your phone needs to programmed by your PABX service tech to provide you with a headset button.

Plantronics:
Any H or HW series headset and a Quick Disconnect to 3.5mm bottom cord.

GN Netcom/Jabra:
Any "direct connect" headset and a 3.5mm standard cord. You can also use a Jabra wireless headset with these phones, including the EHS 14201-09 MSH Adaptor

Sennheiser:
Any headset top and a CCEL 193-2 3.5mm cable.
