Please Note: The model number of your Nortel telephone can usually be found on a label stuck on the bottom of the phone.

M3901 & M3902
To fit a headset to these phones, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate amplifier (the handset cord then plugs into the amplifier) or simply use a headset and cord to replace the handset.
- Plantronics:
- Any H series headset and an M12 amplifier, (Switch Setting 5, Transmit 8). An alternative is a P series headset and Polaris cord.
- GN Netcom:
- Any "direct connect" headset and a standard cord.
- ADD-COM:
- Any headset and an MPS switch.
- Claria:
- Any headset with an ST cord.
- Polaris:
- Any Soundpro headset with a direct connect cord.
M3903, M3904 & M3905
All these telephones have a dedicated headset socket/jack.
- Plantronics:
- Any P series headset and a Polaris cable.
- GN Netcom:
- Any headset with a standard cord.
- ADD-COM:
- Any headset and a Blue cord.
- Claria:
- Any headset and an ST cord.
- Polaris:
- Any Soundpro direct connect headset with direct connect cord.
