Please Note: The model number of your NEC NEAX telephone can usually be found on a label stuck on the bottom of the phone.
NEAX 2000 IPS & 2400 IPX PABX
Consoles/Switchboards
All NEAX PABX switchboards can be fitted with headsets. Use of headsets is critical for the
efficient performance of your switchboard operator(s).
SN 611 (2400SDS)
To fit a headset to this switchboard, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate amplifier. The handset cord then plugs into the amplifier.
- Plantronics:
- Any HW series headset and a M22 amplifier (position 5, transmit 9)
- GN Netcom:
- Any headset and a GN 8000 amplifier or GN 8210 digital amplifier.
- ADD-COM:
- Any headset and a Voyager amplifier.
HA 630Z & SN 626
To fit a headset to this switchboard, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate Two Pronged amplifier or amplifier and Two Pronged adaptor.
- Plantronics:
- Any HW series headset and a P10H amplifier.
- GN Netcom:
- Any headset and a GN 8000 amplifier or GN 8210 digital amplifier.
- ADD-COM:
- Any headset and a Two Prong amplifier.

Dterm 1
To fit a headset to these NEC NEAX phones, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate headset.
- Plantronics:
- Any HW series headset and a Polaris cable.
- GN Netcom:
- Any headset and a standard cord.
- Sennheiser:
- Any headset top and a CSTD01 cable. Also recommended is the headset/handset switchbox (UI 710)
- ADD-COM:
- Any headset and a BLUE Cord.
Dterm 11B & Dterm 111
To fit a headset to these NEC NEAX phones, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate amplifier. The handset cord then plugs into the amplifier.
- Plantronics:
- Any HW series headset and an M22 amplifier (Switch Setting 5, Transmit 10). Ensure that the handset volume is low - use the M22 volume control (this is to prevent squealing)
- GN Netcom:
- Any headset and a GN 8000 amplifier or GN 8210 digital amplifier.
- ADD-COM:
- Any headset and a Voyager amplifier.
Dterm Series e & Dterm Series i
To fit a headset to these NEC NEAX phones, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate headset.
- Plantronics:
- Any HW series headset and an A10 cable (a direct connect Polaris cord will provide a sufficient transmission level in a lot of circumstances). Please note: P series headsets have been recently discontinued.
- GN Netcom:
- Any headset and a standard cord.
- Sennheiser:
- Any headset top and a CSTD01 cable. Also recommended is the headset/handset switchbox (UI 710)
- ADD-COM:
- Any headset and a BLUE Cord.
DT330 Series: DTL-24D-1A
To fit a headset to these NEC NEAX phones, simply plug into the dedicated headset jack.
- Plantronics:
- Any HW series headset and an A10 cable. Please note: P series headsets have been recently discontinued.
- GN Netcom:
- Any headset and a standard cord.
- Sennheiser:
- Any headset top and a CSTD01 cable. Also recommended is the headset/handset switchbox (UI 710)
- ADD-COM:
- Any headset and a BLUE Cord.
NEAX Univerge PABX
Telephones DT330, DT730 & DT750
To fit a headset to these NEC NEAX phones, simply plug into the dedicated headset jack.

HA 630Z, SN 626 & SN 708
To fit a headset to this NEC NEAX switchboard, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate amplifier. The handset cord then plugs into the amplifier.
- Plantronics:
- Any HW series headset and a M22 amplifier (position 1, transmit 2). No batteries required. Ensure that the handset volume is low - use the M22 volume control (this is to prevent squealing)
- GN Netcom:
- Any headset and a GN 8000 amplifier or GN 8210 digital amplifier. Requires a two prong adaptor.
- ADD-COM:
- Any headset and a Voyager amplifier.
SN 694
To fit a headset to this NEC NEAX switchboard, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate amplifier. If the amplifier is not Two Pronged then you must use a Two Prong adaptor.
- Plantronics:
- Any HW series headset and a M22 amplifier (position 1, transmit 2). No batteries required. Ensure that the handset volume is low - use the M22 volume control (this is to prevent squealing). Requires a K plug.
- GN Netcom:

- Any headset and a Voyager amplifier OR any headset with an NEC ADA-J headset adaptor.
