Siemens PABX Phones
Please Note: The model number of your Siemens PABX telephone can usually be found on a label stuck on the bottom of the device.
Siemens PABX Hicom 100
Telephones
T8 & T16D
To fit a headset to these phones, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate amplifier. The handset cord then plugs into the amplifier.
- Plantronics:
- Any H series headset and an M22 amplifier (Switch Setting 5, Transmit 9).
- GN Netcom:
- Any headset and a GN 8000 amplifier or GN 8210 digital amplifier.
- Sennheiser:
- Any headset and a CSHS 01 cable. Also recommended is the headset/handset switchbox (UI 710.
T16
To fit a headset to these phones, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate headset.

- Any H series headset and an A10-16 cable.
- GN Netcom:
- Any "direct-connect" headset and a standard cord.
- Sennheiser:

Ultraset Comfort, Ultraset Memory & Ultraset Standard
To fit a headset to these phones, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate amplifier. The handset cord then plugs into the amplifier. These phones can also be configured with a headset button - programmable by your telephone system technician.

To fit a headset to these phones, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate headset. The Advance and Advance Plus can be fitted with an optional headset adaptor and can also be configured with a headset button - programmable by your telephone system technician.

- Any "direct-connect" headset and a standard cord.
- Sennheiser corded:
- Any headset top and a CSTD 01 cable. Also recommended is the headset/handset switchbox (UI 710)
PC based Optiset
To fit a headset to these phones use the Siemens Adaptor Set AC2.

These are VERY old PABX's and the information below is for completeness.
Attendant Consoles
EMS 30 & 80 PABX
Headsets cannot be used with these consoles as the handset does not have an RJ jack (i.e. it is hardwired).
EMS 60, 150 & 12000 PABX
- Plantronics:
- Any H series headset and an M22 amplifier (Switch Setting 5, Transmit 2). These consoles require an M plug.
EMS 601 PABX
- Plantronics:
- Any H series headset and an M22 amplifier (Switch Setting 5, Transmit 2). These consoles require a Slimline K plug.
