Xen and Ranger Key System Telephones


Xen Telephone

Please Note: The model number of your Xen telephone can usually be found on a label stuck on the bottom of your phone.


XEN ALPHA KEYSYSTEM

Telephones

Talk / Vision Handsets: DTB-16-1A and DTB-16D-1A

To fit a headset to these Xen phones, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate amplifier. The handset cord then plugs into the amplifier.
Plantronics:
Any H series headset and an M22 amplifier (Switch Setting 5, Transmit 10).
GN Netcom:
Any headset and a GN 8000 amplifier or GN 8210 digital amplifier.
Polaris:
Any headset and an a1000 amplifier.
ADD-COM:
Any headset and a Voyager amplifier.

DTU-8-1A (Pro Talk), DTU-16D-1A (Pro Exec), DTU-32D-1A (Pro Master), DTU-8D-1A (Xen Look), DTR-1-1A and DTR-1HD-2A

To fit a headset to these Xen phones, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate headset.

Plantronics:
Any H series headset and a Polaris cable. If your receive volume is not loud enough then you need to use an A10-16 cable.
GN Netcom:
Any "direct-connect" headset and a standard cord.
Polaris:
Any headset and a Direct Connect cord.
Sennheiser:
Any headset and a CSTD 01 cord.
Claria:
Discontinued.
ADD-COM:
Any headset and a BLUE cord.

DTR-8D-1A

These phones have a dedicated headset port. To use this port you must get your PABX technician to program a HEADSET key on your phone.

Plantronics corded:
Any H series headset with an A10-16.
Plantronics CS60, CS70 & SupraPlusWireless:
Switch position 1, Receive 3, standard telephone cord wiring. They are also compatible with the Plantronics HL10 handset lifter.
GN Netcom corded:
Any headset with a direct connect cord (part no: 8800-01-01)
GN Wireless or Bluetooth:
Any headset, switch position A or G
Sennheiser corded:
Any headset top and a CSTD 01 cable.


XEN AXIS / MASTER KEYSYSTEM

Telephones


DTU-8-1A (Pro Talk), DTU-16D-1A (Pro Exec), DTU-32D-1A (Pro Master), DTU-8D-1A (Xen Look)

To fit a headset to these Xen phones, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate headset.

Plantronics:
Any H series headset and a Polaris cable. If your receive volume is not loud enough then you need to use an A10-16 cable.
GN Netcom:
Any "direct-connect" headset and a standard cord.
Polaris:
Any headset and a Direct Connect cord.
Sennheiser:
Any headset and a CSTD 01 cord.

To fit a headset to these Xen phones, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate headset.

Any H series headset and a reversed RJ Polaris cable.
GN Netcom:
Any "direct-connect" headset and a standard cord.
Polaris:
Any headset and a reversed Direct Connect cord.
Sennheiser:
Any headset and a CSTD24 cord.
Claria:
Discontinued.
ADD-COM:
Any headset and a RED cord.

XEN TOPAZ KEYSYSTEM

Telephones

All Handsets: IP2AT-6TD, IP2AT-6TXD, IP2AT-12TD and IP2AT-12TXD (also known as Topaz Talk & Topaz Vision)

To fit a headset to these Xen phones, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate amplifier. The handset cord then plugs into the amplifier.
Plantronics:
Any H series headset and an M22 amplifier (Switch Setting 5, Transmit 10). Ensure that the handset volume is low - use the M22 volume control (this is to prevent squealing). Please Note: An A10-16 cable amplifier will not work - I think that it does not get enough voltage from these phones.
GN Netcom:
Any headset and a GN 8000 amplifier or GN 8210 digital amplifier.
Polaris:
Any headset and an a1000 amplifier.
ADD-COM:
Any headset and a Voyager amplifier.

Consoles

All Consoles: IP2AT-64D and IP2AT-24DL

To fit a headset to these Xen phones, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate amplifier. The handset cord then plugs into the amplifier.
Plantronics:
Any H series headset and an M22 amplifier (Switch Setting 5, Transmit 10). Ensure that the handset volume is low - use the M22 volume control (this is to prevent squealing)
