LG Aria Phones

Please Note: The model number of your Aria telephone can usually be found on a label stuck on the bottom of the phone.

LDP 7000 Series Digital Handsets (i.e. 7004, 7008, 7016, 7024)

All these telephones have a dedicated headset jack.

To program headset jack mode (also known as E-mic) on these LG Aria phones (i.e use the "Speaker" button to answer and release calls):

press the "Menu" button,
select "Advanced Program",
press "OK",
select "5 EAR MIC PROGRAM",
press "OK",
if ON is not displayed on the second line press "Next",
press "OK").

A quicker way to do this is to press the follwing keys in order: Menu, 2, 5, ON, OK. An alternative is to press TRANS/PGM, 17, on, Save/OK.
Please note that this over-rides the Speaker functionality (ie you cannot use the Speaker while in headset mode).

You can also use a headset in the handset jack (underneath the phone). To program this means of using a headset on your telephone(i.e use the "Speaker" button to answer and release calls):

press the "Menu" button,
select "Advanced Program",
press "OK",
select "4 SPK/HEADSET PROGRAM",
press "OK",
if HEADSET MODE is not displayed on the first line press "Next" to toggle to HEADSET MODE,
press "OK", otherwise simply press "OK" to exit the menu).

A quicker way to do this is to press the follwing keys in order: Menu, 2, 4, ON, OK. An alternative is to press TRANS/PGM, 75, 0, Save/OK.
Please note that this over-rides the Speaker functionality (ie you cannot use the Speaker while in headset mode.

Plantronics:: Any P series headset and a Quick Disconnect to 2.5mm bottom cord (if using headset jack) or any P series headset and a Polaris cord (if using handset jack).
GN Netcom:: Any headset and a standard cord with a 2.5mm plug (if using headset jack) or any headset and a Direct Connect cord (if using handset jack).
ADD-COM:: Any headset and a Quick Disconnect to 2.5mm bottom cord (if using headset jack) or any headset and a BLUE cord (if using handset jack).
Claria:: Any headset with a 2.5mm bottom cord (if using headset jack) or any headset and a QDB-ST cord (if using handset jack).

Note: The 7024 & 7024LD can be fitted with an optional Bluetooth module. In this case any Bluetooth headset can pair with it.

LKD Select Telephones (i.e 2N/S, 8D/S, 30D & 30LD)

To fit a headset to these phones, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate amplifier/switch. The handset cord then plugs into the amplifier/switch.

To program the headset mode on these LG Aria phones (i.e use the MON button to answer and release calls) press TRAN/PRG then 5 followed by 7 then 1 for speaker mode or 2 for headset mode. Press the HOLD/SAVE button to save your setting.

Plantronics:: Any P series headset and Polaris cable OR any H series headset and an M12 amplifier.
GN Netcom:: Any headset and a GN 8000 amplifier or GN 8210 digital amplifier. OR any Direct Connect headset with a standard cord (part no: 8800-01-01).
ADD-COM:: Any headset and a Multi Purpose Switch (MPS)OR any headset and a BLUE cord.
Claria:: Any headset with a QDB-ST cord.

We recommend AAAHeadsets for all Aria headset products.
