Alcatel 4200 / 4400 Series PABX

To fit a headset to these phones, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate amplifier (the handset cord then plugs into the amplifier) or simply use a headset and cord to replace the handset.
Plantronics:
Any H series headset and an M22 amplifier, (Switch Setting 5, Transmit 2). An alternative is a P series headset and Polaris cord.
GN Netcom:
Any "direct connect" headset and a standard cord.
ADD-COM:
Any headset and an MPS switch.
Sennheiser:
Any headset top and a CSTD 01 cable. Also recommended is a headset / handset switchbox (UI 710)

Alcatel 4012 / 4023 / 4034 / 4040

To fit a headset to these phones, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate amplifier (the handset cord then plugs into the amplifier) or simply use a headset and cord to replace the handset. These phones can have a headset key programmed by your PABX service tech.

Any "direct connect" headset and a 3.5mm standard cord.
ADD-COM:
Any headset and a Quick Disconnect to 3.5mm bottom cord.
Sennheiser:
Any headset top and a CCEL 193-2 3.5mm cable.

To fit a headset to these phones simply use a headset and cord to replace the handset.

Any headset and a standard bottom cord.

WITHDRAWN.

Any Soundpro headset with a direct connect cord.

These phones have a dedicated 3.5mm headset jack. Your phone needs to programmed by your PABX service tech to provide you with a headset button.

Any "direct connect" headset and a 3.5mm standard cord.
